Collaboration

I’ve worked on construction projects for some large corporations. On one of the sites hosting a 1000 or more workers you can be sure all walks of life are represented including political persuasion. Oddly, differences never arise, I suspect because of the task at hand. After work without the distraction of the project, things can get quite heated, especially when it comes to politics. Comparatively, there is no question that our representatives hate each other along party lines, but when it comes to the corporations and the task at hand they can’t be distracted by politics. This explains the blatant and transparent inefficiency demonstrated by all of our bureaucracies, it’s a collaboration dedicated to a transfer of cash, and everyone is onboard, everyone but us. We’re just picking up the tab.
