There is a Yiddish saying: “If you would like to hear God laugh, make plans.” I sense God snickering, as my plans…what there was of them, have changed. As it turns out, if I’m on the ballot in the Primary, I cannot run in the same district as a write-in. Undeterred, yet again, my “Plan” is to go through the 5th district on a mock campaign, delivering my message. That message being: We as a nation are trillions in debt, while simultaneously, adding billions more via the avenues of apathy, un-creativity and corruption, all to the demise of future generations. If this is the national plan, I doubt very much that God is laughing.
